The Gold Rush Trail follows the historic 1860's routes of miners bound for the Cariboo Goldfields. Begin your Gold Rush adventure in Victoria, travel by B.C. Ferries across the waterway the miners travelled, then travel overland following the Fraser River to New Westminster and Yale. Visit the many historic sites and relics of the goldrush that still remain along Highway 97 as it traces the route of the original Cariboo Waggon road all the way to Barkerville.
